Bloom Bloom - Alejandra Castro

Meet Alejandra Castro, a Brussels-based illustrator and designer. Alongside her graphic design work, her personal practice centers on creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and each other through visual expression and community gathering, moving increasingly into the world of experience design. For Platine, Alejandra presents BLOOM BLOOM, a hands-on flower arrangement workshop where each seasonal flower is introduced through its botanical properties and an archetype. Participants choose the flowers that resonate with the energy they want to bring into their lives or home, and arrange their own bouquet to take with them or gift to someone else. The session closes with an optional sharing circle for those who feel like connecting further.

The workshop works on three levels: regulating the nervous system through tactile work with natural materials and botanical scents, restoring real connection through shared presence and hands-on making, and encouraging authentic self-expression through archetypes that offer a gentle language for self-reflection—without feeling exposed. Everything is provided, and participants are kindly asked to put their phones on airplane mode for a fully present session.
