Meet Brad, a transmasculine artist and activist working across spoken word, rap, doom, metal, and experimental music. For the past five years, his practice has centered on experimental research into the voice, which he calls Screaminology—exploring the scream as a tool for resistance, empowerment, and collective liberation. Coming from underground and squat communities, Brad's work spans performance, installation, and painting, and is rooted in community-building, mutual aid, and care.

For Platine, Brad leads a four-hour workshop exploring the voice through somatics, breathwork, ventriloquism, and vocal experimentation. No prior experience is needed—everyone is welcome, whether shy, curious, or already familiar with voice work. The session opens with a care circle to establish a safer space together, before moving into vocal training covering techniques like vocal fry, growling, and extended vocal work, building toward collective screaming with words, texts, and personal statements. Throughout, the workshop treats the voice as a form of expression, transformation, and connection—a way to work through anger, grief, and frustration, and reclaim the voice as a tool of empowerment and self-defense.
