Litterbox Writing Workshop

Litterbox is a writing collective spread across Belgium and the Netherlands. We write together, self-publish, and organize creative writing workshops in Brussels, Nijmegen, and beyond — building spaces where people can experiment, connect, and have fun through collective writing, creativity, and play.

For this summer residency, we're bringing a workshop built around a shared theme, developed especially for the occasion. Expect a short introduction round followed by three creative writing games and exercises, several of them collaborative — you might continue someone else's text, exchange writing with a stranger, or build something together from scratch.

No experience needed. The session is playful, accessible, and low-pressure, facilitated in English, with multilingual writing warmly encouraged — all languages are welcome in the space. Our goal is simple: to create room to write together, and to embrace play without worrying about being cringe. (And if it is a little cringe — we lean into that too.)
