Yasmine Hamdaoui - Food Residency

Vegetables have always been the starting point in Yasmine’s kitchen. Her cooking is seasonal, spontaneous, and packed with herbs and flavor, with vegetables in the lead.

For her Platine residency, Yasmine is working alongside Jo Smets. For Jo, cooking is about bringing people together and telling stories. With the climate in mind, she combines refined plating and techniques from molecular cuisine with the honest, everyday cooking she developed at Brussels restaurant Bij/Chez Jansens & Jansens.

Together, they’ll serve playful plates full of joy, surprising flavors, and plenty of connection. Food brings people together, and that feeling sits at the heart of everything they create.
